The Opportunity
As Sales Manager, you’ll take charge of a high-performing team responsible for vehicle and equipment sales across multiple product lines. Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, forecasting, and reporting systems.
- Manage stock mix and inventory to maximise turnover and meet customer demand.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Oversee advertising, merchandising, and promotional activities in collaboration with the Dealer Principal.
- Monitor market trends, adapting strategies to stay competitive and relevant.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
- Maintain compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
About You
You’re an experienced automotive or equipment Sales Manager with a strong track record in team leadership and sales growth. You thrive in fast-paced environments, balance people and performance, and lead by example.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in sales management within the automotive, equipment, or related sector.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to drive results through your team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of organisation, attention to detail, and commercial acumen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and resilience under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business systems.
- Valid driver’s licence (Class 6 or 4 advantageous).
